Perpetual Stew refers to the medieval culinary tradition of a continuously simmering pot of stew, where ingredients are added and replenished over time without ever fully emptying the pot. This process creates an ever-evolving dish, rich in flavours that accumulate from its history.
Perpetual Stew is the name I’ve given to my archive — an A4 file where pages are continuously added, rearranged, and reprinted. It’s a space where I gather material, record observations, and map connections across my research and interests. I compile two files each year; each of these artist’s books exists as a single copy.
